The tragedy of September 11, 2001 will remain in our memories as indelibly as the faces of those lost will remain in our hearts.
The support and love shown to America and those who suffered personal losses has been overwhelming and serves as a reminder that we are truly One Family of Mankind. We have seen an
incredible outpouring of support, not only from our nation's leaders, but from ordinary citizens of the world. Each small contribuition went toward making a big difference and we
are so very grateful to all who stood united, joining in hand and heart. You made the difference!
Our work isn't over. There is still much to be done and in order to help, we will continue to provide the ReachOut feature page. Please use this to find phone numbers, community
links or other information that are so important for us all.
And please don't hesitate to contact me with thoughts and suggestions on ways to continue this support

Fund 1st To Help Victims
The
National Association of REALTORS Housing Relief Fund has provided housing assistance to 1,223
families in eleven states and the District of Columbia that lost a breadwinner in the Sept. 11
terrorist attacks. NAR raised and distributed a total of $8,191,116 during the Fund's nearly three-month life

"Every Realtor
in America should be tremendously proud of what we have accomplished. We pledged to do our best to see that no family that
lost a breadwinner on Sept. 11 will lose the place they call home," says NAR President Martin Edwards, Jr. Edwards reported that on average families received checks
within a week after applying and that according to feedback from many victims' families, the first help they received came from the Fund. "We've
saved over 1200 homes and every penny we raise went to help the families. This was indeed our finest hour."
